Overview

The SUSS Sustainability Hackathon 2025 is a unique opportunity for students at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) to engage in real-world sustainability challenges. From August 4 to October 31, 2025, selected teams will collaborate with industry partners in the supply chain and logistics sectors to create actionable solutions that promote sustainability.

Event Structure

During the hackathon, teams will be mentored by SUSS faculty and industry experts, providing them with valuable insights and guidance. Participants will compete for a cash prize of $6,000, which will be awarded to the most innovative and impactful solution. Teams are required to submit a draft proposal, a written report on their mentor company's ESG efforts, and a presentation showcasing their solutions.

Participation Requirements

Teams must consist of 3 to 5 students enrolled in SUSS undergraduate programs, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration. Each team will be matched with an industry mentor and a faculty advisor, ensuring they receive the support needed to succeed. Participants must attend at least 75% of all scheduled sessions to qualify for the competition.

Registration

Interested teams can register until July 4, 2025. This hackathon not only allows students to develop their skills but also helps them build connections with industry leaders and explore potential job opportunities. For more information and to register, visit the SUSS Hackathon Registration Page.
