Workshop Details

The series includes several workshops, each targeting different aspects of home electrification:

  • Get Amped: The Basics of Electrifying Your Home (April 3, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM): An introductory session covering the fundamentals of home electrification and available resources.

  • Stay Cool, Stay Warm: Heat Pumps Demystified (May 8, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM): This workshop will delve into how insulation and air sealing can prepare homes for electrification, with a focus on heat pumps.

  • Hot Stuff: Electrifying Water Heating, Cooking, and Clothes Drying (June 12, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM): Participants will learn about upgrading to electric appliances, including heat pump water heaters and induction stoves.

Additional Resources

Participants will receive step-by-step guidance on weatherization and electrification, along with information on financial incentives and preferred contractors.
