Event Overview

On March 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM CT, the Illinois Power Agency (IPA) will host a webinar titled Power Hour 1—Equity in the Clean Energy Economy: Progress & Challenges. This 60-minute session will delve into the IPA's equity initiatives, including the Equity Accountability System Assessment and the upcoming Disparity Study.

The webinar will also highlight the Illinois Shines Mentorship Program, which supports Equity Eligible Contractors (EECs) in navigating program requirements. Attendees will learn about the IPA's outreach strategies aimed at helping EECs and small businesses access the benefits of Illinois' clean energy economy.
