Overview
The Global CO2 Initiative will host its 2025 May Workshop titled "Enhancing Environmental and Economic Analysis of CCUS: Tackling Cross-cutting Challenges and Advancing Solutions" from May 20 to May 22, 2025, at Palmer Commons in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and online. This annual hybrid workshop is designed to address pressing issues and future directions in the assessment of carbon dioxide capture, conversion, and sequestration technologies.
Workshop Structure
The workshop will feature a series of presentations followed by moderated breakout sessions, allowing participants to engage deeply with the topics at hand. The agenda includes two to three 10-minute presentations that will set the stage for discussions on four to five high-level topics relevant to carbon management and sustainability.
Schedule Highlights
May 20, 2025: Evening reception and registration for in-person attendees.
May 21, 2025: Full day of sessions starting at 8:30 AM, including a poster session and networking dinner.
May 22, 2025: Continuation of sessions from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, concluding with a wrap-up discussion.
