Event Overview

ERRIN is hosting its 'Circular Economy event: opportunities and challenges for members' on October 21, 2025, from 9:00 to 12:00 in Brussels. This event is organized by ERRIN's Bioeconomy Working Group, with support from various clusters including Natural Resources and Adaptation, Low Carbon, Health, ICT, and Culture & Creativity.

The event will delve into the latest political developments surrounding circular economy initiatives, particularly in light of the upcoming European Commission's 'Circular Economy Act' expected to be adopted in 2026. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from the Circular Cities and Region Initiative (CCRI) Pilot and Fellow Regions, which have implemented circular systemic solutions in their territories.

Additionally, the event will showcase best practices and projects from leading regions within the ERRIN network, highlighting upcoming project opportunities. This gathering serves as a platform for mutual learning and collaboration among members, fostering a deeper understanding of circular economy practices.

More information, including a call for regional examples and registration details, will be available in September. Attendees are encouraged to save the date and prepare for an engaging discussion on circular economy strategies and implementations.
