About the Climate Investing Hackathon

The Climate Investing Hackathon is a unique opportunity for young finance professionals to engage in a competitive environment aimed at unlocking investment for climate-focused businesses in emerging markets. Participants will work in teams of 4-6, leveraging their finance and investment knowledge to create innovative solutions that address real-world challenges faced by climate companies.

The event kicks off with a welcome session at the Guildhall in London, where teams will receive data on a diverse portfolio of climate businesses. Over the course of 24 hours, they will collaborate with expert climate finance coaches to refine their ideas. The hackathon culminates in a pitch session where teams present their solutions to a panel of experts, known as the 'Dragons'. A winning team will be selected based on the creativity and feasibility of their proposals.

This hackathon not only fosters innovation but also aims to build a network of young professionals passionate about climate finance. Participants are encouraged to register early to secure their spot in this exciting event, which is part of the broader London Climate Action Week, a platform for climate action and collaboration across various sectors.
