Event Overview

The 2025 Mine Water Geothermal Energy Symposium is set to return for another engaging session, taking place online over two days. Scheduled for May 7th from 1 PM to 5 PM and May 8th from 9 AM to 1 PM (UK time), this symposium is free of charge and aims to bring together participants from around the globe.

The event will feature a series of online presentations that delve into various aspects of mine water geothermal energy, including exploration, drilling, testing, and operational case studies. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from international experts and share insights on innovative practices in mine water heating, cooling, and storage systems.

Additionally, there is an open call for presentations, inviting contributors to submit their proposals by February 28, 2025. Presentations should be between 10 to 15 minutes long and can cover any relevant topic within the mine water geothermal energy sector. Interested presenters are encouraged to express their interest early and submit their abstracts to the organizing committee.
