The 2024 edition of H2 MEET, held in Goyang, South Korea, has successfully concluded, drawing record participation from key players across the hydrogen sector. Held from September 25 to 27 at the KINTEX Exhibition Hall, with over 300 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors, this year's event highlighted the rapid expansion of the hydrogen economy, focusing on its critical role in achieving global decarbonization and net-zero targets.

H2 MEET 2024 showcased the latest innovations in hydrogen production, fuel cells, storage, and transportation technologies. Leading companies demonstrated cutting-edge solutions aimed at reducing emissions and fostering sustainability across industries, including energy, transport, and heavy industry.

A central theme of the expo was the need for collaboration between countries and companies to meet the increasing demand for clean energy, with global industry leaders like Bosch, Fortescue, and Emerson unveiling innovations alongside major domestic companies such as Hyundai Motor Group, Korea Zinc and others.

South Korea, the host nation, reaffirmed its commitment to becoming a global leader in hydrogen development. Government officials outlined the country's efforts to expand its hydrogen infrastructure and production capacity, aligning with national goals to reduce carbon emissions and increase renewable energy adoption.

The success of H2 MEET 2024 reflects the growing importance of hydrogen as a key solution for combating climate change and supporting sustainable growth. With renewed optimism, participants left the event focused on the future potential of hydrogen to transform industries and drive the global transition to a low-carbon economy.

The next edition of H2 MEET is anticipated to build on this year’s momentum, continuing to push the boundaries of innovation in the hydrogen sector.
