The 'Sustainability and Soil Health' workshop is designed for farmers and growers interested in enhancing their understanding of soil management and sustainability practices. Led by Agroecologist Abi Mordin and Soil Scientist Mary Silk, the workshop will include a guided farm walk, allowing attendees to observe and compare different soil management techniques in practice. The session will begin with a complimentary lunch, followed by discussions on how to adapt farming practices to changing weather patterns, which are increasingly affecting productivity and profitability.
