Overview
Now in its fifth year, the Global Carbon Markets Conference serves as a meeting point for end-buyers, project developers, financiers, traders, policymakers, and other stakeholders involved in carbon markets. The event is designed to provide strategic insights into rapidly evolving market conditions while fostering collaboration across the global carbon value chain.
The 2026 programme will examine the implications of changing energy markets, geopolitical developments, and emerging climate policies for carbon pricing and market growth. Planned discussions include the implementation of the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), reforms to the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS), developments in regional compliance markets, the growing demand for high-integrity carbon credits, and the operationalisation of international mechanisms such as Article 6, the Paris Agreement Crediting Mechanism (PACM), and CORSIA. An optional training course on carbon markets will be held on 30 November, ahead of the main conference.
Attendance
