The Tour Bus Ecoconstruction en Hauts de France is set to take place on September 24, 2026, from 8 AM to 6 PM in Villeneuve d'Ascq. This workshop aims to make ecoconstruction a standard practice in the region, showcasing innovative small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and local materials.
Participants will embark on a learning journey, visiting various sites that exemplify sustainable construction practices. The itinerary includes a renovation project in Courcelles les Lens, featuring local wood and bio-sourced insulation, and a visit to La Réserve, an eco-friendly living space in Noeux les Mines. Attendees will also explore production units that create sustainable building materials, such as Miscanbloc's miscanthus concrete blocks and Fiboo's bamboo fiber panels.
The event is free of charge, with meals provided, but registration is mandatory due to limited seating (50 participants).
