Event Overview
Join the NW Energy Coalition for the Spring 2025 Clean & Affordable Energy Conference on May 7, 2025, at the University of Montana in Missoula. The conference runs from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and will feature three engaging panel discussions focusing on critical topics in the clean energy sector.
Panel Discussions
Energy Resources for the Benefit of Tribal Communities: This panel will explore how Tribal communities are developing new energy resources while managing existing ones. It will highlight the expansion of energy efficiency and small-scale renewables.
Energy System Reliability and Transmission: Experts will discuss the impact of extreme weather on energy reliability and how new transmission solutions can facilitate the development of responsibly sited renewable energy sources.
Energy Efficiency and Affordable Housing: This session will address the challenges communities face in implementing energy efficiency programs while ensuring affordable housing needs are met.
Networking Opportunities
Attendees will have the chance to participate in an interactive tabletop discussion aimed at fostering collaboration towards a clean, affordable, and equitable energy system in the Northwest. Additionally, a member meeting will be held from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with breakfast provided for members.
Additional Information
A reception will take place on the evening before the conference, May 6, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iron Horse Bar and Grill. Parking is available in lot R-3 on campus. For those traveling from out of town, a room block has been reserved at the Comfort Inn University, with a booking deadline of April 5, 2025.
