Event Overview

Join the EIC for the third installment of its webinar series focused on in-country opportunities, specifically in the offshore wind sector in Germany. This session will delve into the crucial role that offshore wind plays in Germany's energy transition strategy, known as "Energiewende." With 9.2 GW of installed offshore wind capacity and ambitious government targets of 30 GW by 2030 and up to 70 GW by 2045, the sector is poised for significant growth.

Currently, there are 26 offshore wind projects in the pipeline, with 12 actively under development. The majority of these projects are located in the North Sea, with some in the Baltic Sea. However, the industry faces challenges such as regulatory hurdles and grid connection delays, which could impact future expansion efforts.

This webinar is essential for supply chain professionals, energy companies, and investors looking to tap into the German offshore wind market. Participants will gain insights into available opportunities and strategies for thriving in this expanding sector.
