The Climate Change Conference 2025 at Loyola University Chicago will delve into critical issues surrounding water security and the impacts of climate change on global water resources. Schedule Highlights
The event kicks off on March 12 with a film screening of We Are Tuvalu, followed by a discussion led by the film's creators. On March 13, attendees can join a Campus Sustainability Tour showcasing Loyola's commitment to environmental stewardship, culminating in a keynote address by Dr. Peter Gleick, a prominent figure in water and climate issues.
March 14 features a series of panels addressing global perspectives on climate and water, protecting Great Lakes resources, and local solutions to water challenges. The day also includes an Exhibit Hall where participants can engage with various organizations focused on sustainability and climate change.
On March 15, the conference will conclude with a panel discussion celebrating the tenth anniversary of Laudato Si’, exploring the intersection of faith and environmental action, alongside a musical performance titled Missa Laudato Si’.
Registration
