The ASPV course, organized by the NC Clean Energy Technology Center, is designed for professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This intensive 5-day program will cover advanced design and installation techniques, emphasizing compliance with the National Electrical Code® (NEC). Participants will engage in hands-on activities, including designing a multiple inverter commercial PV system and touring various commercial rooftop PV installations.

  • Equipment specifications and permit processing

  • Commissioning processes for PV systems

This course is particularly beneficial for those looking to earn NABCEP PV Certifications, as it counts for up to 40 approved advanced credit hours necessary for multiple NABCEP Certification Exams.

Prerequisites and Registration

It is recommended that participants have completed the NCCETC’s FSPV course or possess equivalent knowledge in solar PV systems.
