Core Features
ReportLoq processes emissions measurements according to major industry standards. It applies calibration corrections, normalization, and averaging procedures to produce validated emissions values for regulatory reporting. Its main features include:
Real-Time Emissions Monitoring: Displays measured and corrected emissions values, historical trends, and operating conditions through configurable dashboards. Preventive calculations warn operators when emissions approach regulatory limits.
Automated Regulatory Reporting: Generates more than 60 environmental reports, supporting requirements under the Industrial Emissions Directive and relevant European standards. Reports include emissions exceedances, operating conditions, and historical monitoring records.
Data Validation and Quality Assurance: Supports QAL2 and QAL3 procedures, calibration corrections, confidence intervals, and automatic data processing. Optional automated QAL3 functionality helps operators maintain measurement quality and demonstrate compliance.
Industrial System Integration: Connects with emissions analyzers and plant control systems through OPC UA, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus TCP, and analog signals, depending on the configuration. It can also return validated emissions data to control systems.
CO₂ and Mass Emissions Accounting: Optional modules calculate pollutant mass emissions and support CO₂ reporting, including separation of fossil and biogenic CO₂, carbon capture applications, and emissions trading reporting.
Closing Insights
ReportLoq was originally developed by FLSmidth in 2012, with Olicem assuming responsibility for its operation and maintenance in 2018. Its documented customers include Danish energy company Ørsted, which deployed the system at its Avedøre and Asnæs power plants, alongside waste-to-energy operators Energnist and Norfors. These examples demonstrate applications across power generation and waste incineration.
Although the publicly identified customers are Danish, ReportLoq is not limited to Denmark. Olicem reports installations worldwide, and its alignment with European standards EN 14181 and EN 17255 makes it relevant to industrial facilities operating under comparable emissions monitoring requirements elsewhere. Prospective international users should contact Olicem to discuss local regulatory requirements, reporting formats, and implementation needs.
In November 2024, Swedish environmental technology group Nederman acquired Olicem. ReportLoq's expanding capabilities include CO₂ data management for carbon capture applications and the QA Data Hub, which provides API access to validated emissions information.
The software is available in three configurations: ReportLoq Soft, ReportLoq+, and ReportLoq+ Cloud. Pricing is provided on request.
