atmio OS follows a measurement-to-report workflow built around a centralized digital inventory of potential methane emission sources. Field and external measurement data flow into the same web platform, reducing manual transfers between inspection, repair and reporting processes. Its key capabilities include:

• Digital Asset Inventory: Operators can centrally maintain gas-system components and pipeline sections, with structures adaptable to their operational requirements. Each potential leakage source can be uniquely identified and tracked.

• LDAR Campaign Management: Users can schedule and manage inspection campaigns from the desktop platform and execute them in the field. atmio automatically schedules and reminds teams about required measurements and deadlines.

• Leak and Repair Management: Detected leaks can be classified, assigned for repair and monitored through follow-up inspections, helping operators manage the repair timelines required by methane regulation.

• Automated Methane Quantification: Measurement information is brought into the platform for emissions quantification, covering sources including LDAR measurements, venting, flaring and operational emissions.

• Regulatory Reporting: atmio OS automatically generates reports from collected data, including EU Methane Regulation and OGMP formats, LDAR reports, repair and monitoring plans, and flaring documentation.

• Measurement and Enterprise Integrations: The platform accepts data from atmio's handheld and stationary detectors as well as third-party equipment such as drones, vehicles and external sensors. It can also integrate with SAP and other operational systems.

atmio was launched in 2023 by Matthias Schmittmann and Marius Krüger, whose backgrounds combine gas-detection technology and energy-industry operations. Schmittmann previously built gas-detector startup bentekk, which was acquired by Dräger, while Krüger worked at BP before becoming an entrepreneur.
