StormGeo is a Norwegian weather intelligence and decision-support company serving industries whose operations depend heavily on environmental conditions. The firm originated as a spin-off from the Norwegian broadcaster TV2, where meteorologist Siri Kalvig helped establish a commercial venture delivering tailored weather services to businesses. Over time, StormGeo expanded internationally and now works with sectors such as shipping, offshore energy, renewables, aviation, and infrastructure, combining meteorological expertise with large operational datasets. The company became part of the industrial technology group Alfa Laval in 2021.
