RecyClass

RecyClass is a cross-industry initiative that supports the transition toward circular plastics. It brings together stakeholders across the plastics value chain—including recyclers, converters, producers, and brands—to develop harmonised approaches to recyclability and recycled plastic traceability in Europe. The initiative focuses on standardisation, technical guidance, and industry alignment rather than advocacy. RecyClass provides a suite of tools, including Design for Recycling Guidelines, evaluation protocols, and third-party certification schemes that assess packaging recyclability, recycling processes, and recycled content traceability.
