Pegasus Materials BV is a Netherlands-based advanced materials start-up developing high-performance polymers made from bio-based building blocks. Combining chemistry, materials science, biomanufacturing and synthetic biology, the company designs polymers intended to meet or exceed the performance of traditional petrochemical materials in sectors such as electronics, data centres, aerospace and additive manufacturing. Operating from the Brightlands Chemelot Campus, Pegasus Materials aims to reduce fossil-feedstock dependency and support industrial decarbonisation through next-generation, low-carbon materials.
