PassportLab.io (Iten Media) is a company developing infrastructure for Digital Product Passports (DPP) aligned with EU regulatory requirements. Led by founder Ileana Sofronie, the company focuses on building systems where data traceability, verification, and regulatory alignment are embedded at the architectural level. Its work centres on enabling importers and private-label brands to meet the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) by structuring and validating product and supply chain data. PassportLab, its core platform, generates and hosts cryptographically signed passports using standards such as GS1 Digital Link and W3C Verifiable Credentials.
