Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, commonly known as KHNP, is South Korea’s principal nuclear and hydroelectric power operator. The company develops, constructs and operates nuclear power plants, hydroelectric facilities and renewable-energy projects in South Korea and international markets. KHNP is a subsidiary of the state-controlled Korea Electric Power Corporation and plays a central role in South Korea’s electricity system, nuclear technology exports and reactor operations.
