The International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) is a global organisation advancing health, well-being, and equity through building design. Founded in 2013, IWBI created the WELL Building Standard, a certification system addressing air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort, and mind. Operating as a public benefit corporation, IWBI combines for-profit operations with a social mission to improve human and environmental health.
