COTREP

COTREP (Comité Technique pour le Recyclage des Emballages Plastiques/Technical Committee for the Recycling of Plastic Packaging) is a French technical committee established in 2001 by Citeo, Elipso, and Valorplast to support the development of recyclable plastic packaging. It brings together stakeholders across the plastics value chain, including producers, packaging manufacturers, and brand owners, to advance circular economy objectives. The committee operates under a confidentiality charter governing company submissions. COTREP provides technical assessments of packaging compatibility with French sorting and recycling systems, covering both existing and in-development systems.
