WMO High-level Dialogue on Climate Science Information for Climate Finance and the 53rd Senior Official Field Exchange (SOFE)

##Overview The event will consist of two main segments. From September 14 to 16, a high-level dialogue will address the critical role of National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) in mobilizing climate finance at both national and regional levels. This dialogue will utilize the WMO Guidance on Enhancing the Role of NMHS in Mobilizing Climate Finance (No.1365) to strengthen strategic partnerships and leadership development among NMHS directors.

The second segment, scheduled for September 17 and 18, will feature the 53rd Senior Official Field Exchange. Participants will gain firsthand insights into the implementation of MAZU, China's initiative for Early Warnings for All (EW4All), and explore disaster risk reduction practices through technical exchanges, field visits, and peer learning opportunities. This event aims to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among stakeholders in the climate finance sector.
