This three-day workshop offers a comprehensive introduction to the Brightway 2.5 framework and its extension, Edges, for conducting regionalised and flexible LCIA. Participants will engage in both theoretical sessions and practical exercises using open-source Python tools and Jupyter notebooks. The course emphasizes building and analyzing LCA models, managing uncertainty, and visualizing results. The latter part of the workshop will delve into advanced applications, including inventory flow assessment and scenario-based LCIA. All course materials, including code examples and datasets, will be available on GitHub for ongoing learning.

Learning Outcomes

  • Build and analyze complete LCA systems in Python.
