Overview

Founded in 1992, the GHGT conference series has become the premier international meeting for advancing carbon capture, utilisation and storage technologies. Held every two years, it provides a platform for collaboration between academia, industry, and government on technologies that can reduce greenhouse gas emissions from hard-to-abate sectors and support long-term climate goals.

GHGT-18 is expected to attract more than 1,000 delegates from around the world. Across four days, participants will examine advances spanning the entire CCUS value chain, from fundamental research and pilot projects to commercial deployment, business models, financing, and regulatory frameworks. The conference combines technical presentations with discussions on policy, investment, and large-scale implementation, reflecting the growing role of CCUS in net zero strategies.

Registration

Registration for GHGT-18 is now open, for all four days of the conference (AU$1995) or for a single day (AU$1250). A discounted rate (AU$1000) is also available for students. Prospective attendees should consult the official conference website for more information.
