About the Event
Join RMI and the Harvard Initiative on Reducing Global Methane Emissions for an insightful panel discussion during London Climate Action Week. This event will focus on recent advancements in the detection, attribution, and reduction of methane emissions, a potent greenhouse gas that significantly impacts climate change.
The panel will feature experts such as Deborah Gordon, a Senior Principal and Methane Expert at RMI, Daniel Jacob, a Professor of Atmospheric Chemistry at Harvard University, and Robert Stavins, a Professor at the Harvard Kennedy School. Their discussions will highlight how reducing methane emissions can provide a crucial opportunity to slow climate change while longer-term strategies for CO2 mitigation are developed.
Attendees will enjoy light refreshments and coffee before the event, which starts at 14:00 and concludes at 16:00 BST. Due to limited space, registration is required, and participants will be placed on a waiting list if capacity is reached. The exact location near St. Paul's Cathedral will be communicated upon registration confirmation. For more details and to register, visit the event page.
