4th Workshop on Life Cycle Assessment of Space Transportation Systems

The 4th Workshop on Life Cycle Assessment of Space Transportation Systems (LCA of STS) is set to hold in Stuttgart, Germany, from September 1 to 3, 2026. Building on the success of previous workshops, this event will feature presentations and discussions aimed at advancing the understanding of life cycle assessment in the context of space transportation. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with experts in the field, focusing on topics such as launch and re-entry emission assessments and atmospheric emission modeling. The workshop is hosted by the Institute of Space Systems at the University of Stuttgart and is supported by the German Space Agency at DLR and the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space.
