UOB Thailand

UOB Thailand is the Thai banking subsidiary of Singapore-based United Overseas Bank. The current entity was formed in 2005 through the merger of Bank of Asia and UOB Radanasin Bank. It provides retail, commercial, corporate, and treasury banking services across Thailand and connects customers with UOB’s wider regional network. The bank is also involved in sustainable finance, supporting businesses investing in areas such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable infrastructure and climate resilience. In the context of Thailand’s industrial expansion, UOB Thailand has highlighted the financing challenges associated with water infrastructure and climate adaptation projects, particularly where projects do not generate predictable commercial revenue streams.
