United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the UN’s lead agency for international development. It works in approximately 170 countries and territories to reduce poverty and inequality, strengthen governance and support sustainable development. Its activities include climate mitigation and adaptation, crisis resilience, digital inclusion and development financing. UNDP works with governments, businesses and civil society to provide policy advice, technical assistance and institutional support. In Bangladesh, it supports circular economy initiatives and the National Plastic Action Partnership, helping coordinate evidence-based planning, stakeholder cooperation and investment priorities for sustainable plastics management.
