Symbiosis Coalition

Symbiosis Coalition is an independent nonprofit initiative that brings together corporate buyers to support nature-based carbon removal. Launched by Google, Meta, Microsoft and Salesforce, it evaluates restoration projects and facilitates long-term purchasing agreements. Its quality criteria address conservative carbon accounting, durability, ecological integrity, transparency and community benefits. The coalition works to translate corporate demand into contracts that help developers secure financing for reforestation, agroforestry and other restoration activities.
