Siemens Gamesa

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is a global wind energy technology company that develops, manufactures, installs, and services onshore and offshore wind turbines. The company was formed in 2017 through the merger of Siemens Wind Power and Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica, combining their manufacturing, engineering and project development capabilities. Its activities include turbine design, wind farm equipment supply, installation support, maintenance, digital monitoring and long-term servicing. Siemens Gamesa has installed more than 150 GW of wind capacity worldwide and serves utilities, independent power producers and renewable energy developers across major global markets. Siemens Energy acquired the remaining publicly traded shares of Siemens Gamesa, and the company was delisted from the Spanish stock exchanges in February 2023. It now operates as Siemens Energy’s wind power business.
