European Bioeconomy University Alliance (EBU)

The European Bioeconomy University Alliance connects universities specializing in fields relevant to the bioeconomy. Established by six universities in 2019, it subsequently expanded to eight members. The alliance supports collaboration in education, research and innovation to address environmental, economic and societal challenges associated with the transition to a sustainable bioeconomy. Its activities bring together complementary expertise across institutions and encourage interdisciplinary cooperation. BIOSPARK builds on the alliance alongside the earlier BIObec project and the BIOEAST University Network.
