Saudi Aramco

Saudi Aramco, officially the Saudi Arabian Oil Company and commonly known as Aramco, is an integrated energy and chemicals company headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Its activities span crude oil and natural gas exploration and production, refining, chemicals, trading and other downstream operations. The company traces its origins to a 1933 concession agreement between Saudi Arabia and Standard Oil of California, while the current Saudi Arabian Oil Company was formally established in 1988. Aramco is publicly listed on the Saudi Exchange and remains majority-owned by the Saudi government. It is the parent organization of Aramco Ventures.
