ResponsibleSteel is an international nonprofit organization and multi-stakeholder initiative that develops standards and certification systems for responsible steel production. The initiative brings together steel producers, civil society organizations, downstream manufacturers, and industry stakeholders to improve environmental, social, and governance practices across the steel value chain. ResponsibleSteel promotes decarbonization, responsible sourcing of raw materials, and transparency in steel manufacturing, supporting the transition toward lower-emission steel production and more sustainable industrial supply chains
