ReSource Traceability

ReSource is an industry-backed supply chain traceability organization and technology platform focused on responsible sourcing and ESG compliance for critical minerals used in batteries and electric vehicles. The initiative was originally launched through a consortium of mining and battery supply-chain companies including Glencore, CMOC, ERG, and IXM, with a focus on improving traceability and sustainability data exchange for cobalt and other battery materials. ReSource develops digital infrastructure for battery passports, provenance verification, and regulatory compliance across the battery value chain. The organization is particularly aligned with emerging EU Battery Regulation requirements and broader efforts to standardize traceability and ESG reporting in critical-minerals supply chains.
