Oxfam GB

Oxfam GB is a UK-based charity and member of the international Oxfam confederation. Established in Oxford in 1942 as the Oxford Committee for Famine Relief, the organisation combines humanitarian and development work with campaigning and a large network of charity shops. Its extensive experience collecting and sorting donated clothing makes it an important participant in textile reuse and recovery. Under The Circuit, Oxfam's Batley facility in Yorkshire is expected to host the initiative's first automated textile sorting and pre-processing phase.
