OPITO

OPITO is a global, nonprofit, industry-owned organization focused on workforce safety, skills, training standards, and qualifications for the energy and other safety-critical industries. Headquartered near Aberdeen, Scotland, it works with employers, governments and training providers to develop competency standards and support workforce mobility. OPITO reports more than 500,000 registrations annually through approximately 240 approved centers in more than 50 countries. Its activities increasingly cover energy transition skills, including hydrogen, wind, carbon capture, sustainability and decarbonisation training.
