Nuveen Energy Infrastructure Credit

Nuveen Energy Infrastructure Credit, or EIC, is an investment strategy within Nuveen focused on private debt and structured equity financing for energy infrastructure. The platform provides capital to companies and projects operating across the energy ecosystem, with an emphasis on investments supporting the transition to a lower-carbon economy while maintaining energy security. Its activities include bespoke private debt, infrastructure credit, and structured capital solutions. EIC benefits from the wider Nuveen platform and backing from TIAA, Nuveen's parent company. As of June 2026, Nuveen reported approximately $7 billion in infrastructure credit and equity assets under management across its wider infrastructure platform.
