Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS)

The Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS) is an international coalition of central banks and financial supervisory authorities working to strengthen the global financial system’s response to climate change. The network promotes the integration of climate-related risks into financial supervision, monetary policy and financial stability frameworks. NGFS develops guidance, research, and climate scenario analysis to help financial institutions and regulators assess transition and physical climate risks. Its work supports the alignment of financial systems with the goals of the Paris Agreement and the transition toward sustainable economic development.
