Melbourne Water

Melbourne Water is a Victorian Government-owned water corporation responsible for major parts of Greater Melbourne's water cycle. Its responsibilities include drinking water storage and treatment, sewerage infrastructure, wastewater treatment, waterways, catchments, drainage and flood management. The organization manages extensive water infrastructure and natural assets across the Melbourne region. Melbourne Water is now collaborating with RMIT University and the Bass Coast Landcare Network on a separate trial testing floating wetlands in farm dams, examining potential effects on greenhouse gas emissions, water quality and biodiversity.
