L’Association pour la transition Bas Carbone (ABC)

L’Association pour la transition Bas Carbone (ABC) is a French non-profit organisation created in 2011 by ADEME and the APCC to develop and disseminate carbon accounting methodologies. It is responsible for maintaining and evolving the Bilan Carbone® method, originally developed by ADEME, and has expanded its role to support broader low-carbon transition strategies. The association brings together a network of organisations, consultants, and public actors, providing training, tools, and methodological guidance. Its work centres on structuring carbon accounting practices and supporting organisations in defining and implementing decarbonisation strategies.
