Janus Henderson Investors is a global asset manager formed in 2017 through the merger of US-based Janus Capital Group and UK-based Henderson Global Investors. Its heritage extends to Henderson's founding in London in 1934 and Janus Capital's establishment in Denver in 1969. The company provides active investment strategies across equities, fixed income, multi-asset products and alternative investments for institutional and individual clients globally. Janus Henderson became a private company in 2026 in partnership with strategic investors including Trian Fund Management and General Catalyst. The firm joined Form Energy's Series G financing as a new investor in 2026, providing exposure to the expanding long-duration energy storage sector.
