Ipieca

Founded in 1974 at the request of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Ipieca is a London-based global association that brings together oil, gas, and increasingly renewable-energy companies to advance environmental and social performance across the energy transition. Ipieca develops industry guidance, reporting frameworks, and collaborative initiatives covering climate, biodiversity, human rights, health, social performance, and sustainability reporting. The association serves as a principal channel of engagement between the energy industry and the United Nations, publishing technical guidance and good-practice resources used across international energy operations.
