E3G, also known as Third Generation Environmentalism, is an independent climate change think tank focused on accelerating the global transition to a safe, resilient, and low-carbon economy. The organisation works on climate diplomacy, energy policy, finance, clean power, industrial transition, and geopolitical aspects of climate action. It produces policy analysis, supports coalition building, and engages with governments, businesses, civil society, and international institutions to help shape climate and energy decisions. E3G is particularly active in debates on power system reform, fossil fuel transition, climate finance, and the political economy of net zero.
