The Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) is a nonprofit education and research organization that advances sustainable, equitable, and resilient infrastructure through the Envision sustainability framework and rating system. ISI was founded in 2010 in Washington, D.C. by the American Public Works Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the American Council of Engineering Companies, and then partnered with the Zofnass Program for Sustainable Infrastructure at Harvard University to develop Envision.
