Iceland Foods

Iceland Foods is a privately owned British food retailer, manufacturer, and exporter best known for frozen foods. Founded in 1970 with a single store in Oswestry, England, the company has expanded into a nationwide retail network operating under the Iceland and The Food Warehouse brands. Its stores sell frozen, chilled, grocery, and selected non-food products, including a substantial own-label range. Iceland also operates an international business exporting primarily own-brand products to markets outside the UK. The company has more than 900 stores in the UK and additional owned or franchised operations in Europe, while its principal operating company is Iceland Foods Limited.
