Hysopt is a Belgian HVAC engineering software company founded in 2013 as a spin-off from the University of Antwerp by Roel Vandenbulcke, Wouter Hendrickx, and Peter Hellinckx. The company develops physics-based digital twin software for modelling, simulating, and optimising heating, cooling, and air-handling systems in commercial and institutional buildings. Hysopt’s platform is used by engineering consultants, installers, facility managers, and property developers to evaluate HVAC system performance, energy efficiency, and operational carbon emissions. The software combines dynamic HVAC simulation, hydronic system analysis, BIM integration, and decarbonisation modelling within a unified engineering workflow.
