HCL Technologies Limited is a global technology and IT services company founded in 1976 by Shiv Nadar and a group of engineers, originally as Hindustan Computers Limited in India. Spun out as HCL Technologies in 1991, it provides digital transformation, cloud, engineering, software and consulting services to enterprise clients worldwide. Its operations span more than 60 countries, serving sectors including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and public services. HCLTech also develops and supports software products through its HCLSoftware division and has grown through strategic acquisitions and partnerships across regions.
